Because of the worldwide Coronavirus outbreak, the oral presenters at the 4th IRECONF conference announced a shift to virtual presentations. Consequently, the IRECONF Organizing Committee decided to conduct the conference entirely online.
The 4th edition was planned to take place in Vienna from 25 to 27 March 2022. It assembled experts from Austria, Italy, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Vietnam, Taiwan, and other countries. This edition examined how to effectively use technology in the classroom. It also explored using gamification to boost motivation and focus of the students, the potential of virtual reality for skills training, and making sense of data and using it in decision-making to improve how schools perform.
